News Update Jan. 30th

•January 30, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Its been a ghost town here for the last few weeks, which I apoligize for. First I’ve been sick the entire month, so its been pretty much sleep, sleep and more sleep. Thats the type of shit that happens with the riduculous weather we get here. One day its 40 degrees the next day its -12. Shits just brutal on your body and your mind. I really need to move some place warmer cuz I cant take much more of this shit. Plus on top of that the new semester just started up and I need to pass Statistics to graduate, and if you didnt know, while I’m a genius at English and Littiture, I’m pretty much functionally retarded when it comes to math. So thats been a ballbuster on top of all the other bullshit, so things here just kinda stagnated. Not to worry tho becuase theres plenty of news to be announced. Check the bulletpoints bitches.

  • Works begun on my new mixtape “A World Without Heroes” and it will drop in March. Guaranteed.
  • I’ve joined forces with Puppet Masta to bring to you the rawest must gutter group you’ll ever hear. “The Zombie Apocalypse”. Its a little gangsta, its a little horrorcore, overall tho, I just call the shit curb stomp music cuz when you bump it, it’s gonna make you wanna wild out and curb stomp some muthafuckas.
  • Thats now all tho. I’ve also joined forces with Asoka and Battleme to bring to you one of the most elite essemblages of underground talent the world will ever see. Together we form like Voltron to create “The Eulogy”. Hip-hop as an art forms been dead for years, we take the charge to honor its memory and perform it’s last rights.
  • Also in the works is my official website. So within a month or so, no more wordpress.
  • Now that I’m back this shit is going to mirror an actual blog. I’m aiming for daily posts, not a post every two weeks lol.

Thats all for now peeps. Stay tunned.

news update Jan. 8th

•January 8, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year’s, I’m just going to roll out a few quick hits for this weeks update.

  • Jan. 12th as stated before will commence the first ever <Greater Than All Awards> which are based entirely on my person opinion. All award shows of meaningless bullshit, so I figured might as well do my own, I mean my opinion holds more weight than most.
  • The set up for the awards will be as follows: there will be several different categories and the award ceremony will span the length of 5 days, so each day a new category will be revealed.
  • As far as music goes, the re-release of Orator Colossus will be pushed back at least a week. Unfortunately with this ridiculous east coast weather I got sick and couldn’t lay anything down in the booth.
  • The music video for frostbite Pt. II or the video for Soul 4 Sale will be released at the conclusion of the 5 day award presentations. No final decision has been made as to which will air first.

First off I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I want to let you know whats in store for the new year.

  • Shooting has gotten underway on several music videos for Slave To The Industry, the first of which you should see mid Jan. So far confirmed music videos are: “Soul 4 Sale”, “Frostbite Pt. II” & “Carpe Omnis” ; with more possible in the future
  • The restoration process is about 20% complete for “Orator Colossus”, so with luck the remastered, rerecorded version will be hitting some time in late Jan. , early Feb.
  • The promise of a video blog will be fulfilled in Jan. , the interface menus are near completion and everything is looking great, so look for the video blog to launch early in the new year
  • You will see more information on the cryptically mentioned two novels soon. Now everything is being kept under wraps until copyright issues are resolved and a publisher is in place. For now the only teaser I’ll put out there is by the time my birthday gets here you should have the first of the two in your hands
  • Two collaborative albums are in the developmental stages and things look like they will both be out some time in 09. Who they are with, well that you’ll find out in due time.
  • And to conclude things, on Jan. 12th I will unveil on this blog the first ever “<Greater Than All Awards>”, dispensing out my picks for the best of 2008. Some categories will be par for the course but others will be unique to, well, my unconventional, visionary mind. *Spoiler alert* Lil’ Wayne wins nothing

So thats the news for now, hope everyone has a great New Years! See you in 09

AOTS’s Kevin Pereira as Kayne West

•December 22, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Fresh from Attack Of The Show, Kevin P drops one of the funniest parity videos I’ve seen in ages. He completely pwns not just Kayne but all the so called “musicians” who use that weak auto tune shit to sound listenable. If you’ve seen the whole SNL debacle this shit is like the icing on the cake.

Enjoy
